Unlock The Past will be hosting a Family and Local History Expo in Bulleen on Thursday 19th and Friday 20th April 2018. Among others, Neil Smith will be a speaking twice plus  Mostly Unsung will have an exhibition and sales table. The venue is the Veneto Club, 191 Bulleen Road. Start time 9.00 am both days.

A monster Family History and Genealogy Expo will be held in Sale on Saturday 21st April 2018 at the MacAllister Street Memorial Hall starting at 10.00 am. Mostly Unsung will have a table and Neil will be presenting on tracing your World War One Australian and British ancestors.

Neil Smith will be the luncheon speaker for Melbourne Legacy gathering at Legacy House, 293 Swanston Street, Melbourne on Tuesday 1st May 2018.

The Exploring Family and Local History¬† seminar hosted by Unlock The Past will be held on the 18th and 19th May 2018 in Adelaide as part of South Australia’s History Festival 2018. Among the leading speakers will be Neil Smith – his sessions are Understanding Your World War One Digger and Tracing Your World War Two Australian Military Ancestors. The venue is the City Mazda Stadium, 57 Milner Road, Richmond, South Australia. Start time 9.00 am both days.

Boer War day will again be held at the Shrine of Remembrance at midday on 27th May 2018. Neil Smith will be the MC.

The Mostly Unsung Winter catalogue of publications and military ephemera will be released 1st June 2018. Ask for a copy – ‘snail mail’ or electronically.

Watch out for Reserve Forces Day in Melbourne on 1st July 2018 when Neil Smith will be MC for the parade and associated activities at the Shrine of Remembrance.
